Childcare settings in England are struggling to recruit the staff they need to deliver 30 hours free childcare for working families, a new study from independent analysts Ceeda has found. Research conducted by Ceeda in July and August 2017 shows almost one in two (45%) private and voluntary sector day nurseries and pre-schools have vacancies, totalling an estimated 24,600 posts.
